Electric heat vs gas heat
Im looking at a multi unit and its all now converted to electric heating
My concern is acquiring tenants and keeping them . I know that electric is more than gas but how much more that it would deter rentals ?

@Natasha Billinghurst, where are you located? Obviously, heating is going to be more in VT than it will be in VA.
It will be very expensive to convert to gas, unless the infrastructure already exists. One thing I always recommend exploring is converting to mini-splits. They can provide heat in the winter and A/C in the Summer, which is often a competitive advantage and can command higher rent.
