Do you provide Microwaves?
Do you provide microwaves if they're not built-in?
Do your properties have built-ins?
Why or why not?
Personally, I've lived in properties that had no microwave at all (just oven and stove), and others that had built-in microwaves, dishwashers, and the works.

I do not provide any stand-alone microwaves. I do not like to provide micro-waves in rental units; if there is one built-in when I bought it, or if all of the competition for rentals in that area have them, then it is somewhat necessary to provide a micro-wave.
Two reasons not to provide. First, have you seen how renters clean things? If you ever visit an office and look at the microwave oven interior, you will see all sorts of gunk and crud accumulated in there; renters (for the most part) would be no different in how they treat the microwave oven. The second reason applies to stand-alone units; when the tenant moves out, it's not nailed down, it will probably move out too.
