Hi! I'm new here and have a question about selling occupied prop

I'm going to sell my small multi-family at the beach in Port Aransas. I want to keep my good tenants and think they will freak if they know I"m selling. (Many owners here switch to short-term rentals and tenants are always fearful of losing their place) Do I have to inform them that I'm selling? If so, any advice on how to sell without scaring my tenants? They are on month-to-month leases.
