Tenant keeps calling when she sees a bug what should we do?

Hi, as the title mentions we got a new tenant and a month ago and she saw a Silverfish bug once and asked us to get an exterminator. We kindly replied that these bugs are harmless and that if she saw one it’s not that big of a deal

And that she should clean well the area she saw the bug. We also said that if she sees a whole group of them then we should be concerned. So she said fine.

Fast forward to today (a week later) she messages us again saying she saw 3 more since last week. We lived in this house before her so we are aware of this bug and we would occasionally see it from time to time and just kill

It.

Should we tell her to relax and kill the bug when she sees some or is it our responsibility to take care of that?

@David Simard this is a tough one and really comes down to how much you want to keep the tenant long term. I personally lean towards having an exterminator come by for peace of mind for the tenant. In the apartment world I take bug calls very seriously and always have my exterminator in. In one of my most recent acquisitions in Berwyn I have dealt with bed bugs, roaches, flies, spiders (and rats) all in the first year since acquisition! My exterminator is most definitely on speed dial lol.
