Conversation to have with Attorney

Hey All,

I’m just now getting started in rental property investments and I’m trying to network the best way I know how. I am wanting to get started with an attorney and building a relationship with someone who can help protect me as the Landlord in the growth of my portfolio. He’s a highly recommended attorney and rates are $175 an hour. So I want to make the most of my time.

My strategy is BRRRR, and I'm currently in negotiations for my first rehab project. I'm looking at investing into Single Family Homes and Multi Unit Homes. My first project is a SFH. Getting my ducks in a row here. But I want to grow grow GROW!! 50+ doors in 5 years.

So being that you know where I’m at and know my plan. I recently finish The Book on Rental Property Investing and downloaded all the forms from the books reference to BiggerPockets Rental-Book-Forms. I am taking those to the attorney to make sure those can all cover my market and laws for the state of Kentucky.

But what questions should I be asking my attorney given this is a new relationship, I’m a new Investor, and plans to grow my investment portfolio?
