Podcast 061: Concept preferring a 1 bath unit over a 2 bath unit
Question! About the concept of not wanting to have a 2 bath: Wouldn't you also be slowing down the deterioration of your baths being that you have the entire yearly usage now split between 2 baths instead of all that wear and tear on just one bath? Therefore you wouldn't be investing as much money in both as often as I think you're portraying it to seem. Ex. you buy 2 houses, brand new, the same day, 1 with 2 baths 1 with 1 bath. Lets just pretend that you end up having to fix the sink and plumbing in 5 years on the 1 bath, but in the 2 bath you end up having to fix both in 10 years... and maybe you never have to fix the 2 bath because well you may have sold at year 5 to year 9. Does that make sense or no sense at all? I am looking to purchase my first multiunit soon and am just looking at this from a nativist perspective, maybe there something else here that I don't see.
