Multi Family Properties that are not completely metered separate
Do you avoid any multi family that is not completely metered separately?
Looking into house hacking a Duplex but noticed some only have electric metered separate, leaving the owner to pay gas and water.
How much of an emphasis should I place on the home having completely separate meters vs only electric? I know cost is an issue when trying to meter the other utilities but also sometimes not even possible from what Ive read.
Thanks!
Mike
