Finding tenants for a new investment property

I am currently under contract in North Carolina for an investment property I bought strictly to rent out. Can I list the property for rent while under contract with an "available" date listed for next month? Or What options do I have in order to find a renter within days of closing? Im just trying to get it rented quickly and legally.
