HI BP Community,

I'm looking to purchase a single family house in Bergenfield NJ and Teaneck NJ but I am unfamiliar with NJ Market.

Which out of these two towns is a better renter town? I believe Teaneck is a huge renter town but I'm uniformed about Bergenfield NJ.

@Michael Peralta

. Congratulations on taking her first steps to owning a home in beautiful Bergenfield and or Teaneck. I grew up in Bergen county so I can provide some insight on which town is good for commuters. Primarily commuter towns or towns that have a good bus system and as you know both towns have a good bus system therefore they are both good commuter town. Both towns have different markets Brimfield has three different markets. The area near Cresskill is a high end market in Bergenfield the area near places of warship is another area of high returns the area in the middle between the two is central Bergenfield that is areas near E. Johnson St. and such those areas are primarily the other demographics of the area. As for Teaneck Teaneck also has three areas they have a low end area near Teaneck Road past Route four they have a up-and-coming area near places of warship on Queenanne Road and they have an area that’s middle. I’m not sure if you’re working with an agent or not but if you are have the agent send you comps for rentals in the area. If you would like I can take a look and let you know which areas are worth it so that way you have a better return on investment. I also have my license besides being the fact that I’m a developer here in Bergen county so if you need any help or require any insight on specific properties please don’t hesitate to me
