views on energy efficiency audits - do they help?

Good morning BP, ive been looking into the various incentives from utility programs and curious if anyone has a view on the value of energy efficiency audits? Specifically, I'm interested in knowing if anyone has made use of an audit, what prompted you to assess the building and did it lead to you retrofitting the building?
