Transfering Self Management to Property Management

Hi BP,

I'm coming close to owning my first buy and hold rental property and came across a question regarding management. I'm going to self manage myself; however, in the event that I would need to transfer management to a Property Management company, what would need to be done? Would I need approval from the tenant? Is there any other important information I should know regarding this process?

Thank you!

"The quality of the tenant shouldn't matter too much, that's why you're paying your PM."  -Wow, My head almost exploded.

The quality of the tenant is everything.  I tell people, I don't collect great properties. I collect great tenants.

Do your own PM young man and follow @Timmi Ryerson advice. It will make you a better and more profitable investor over the long term,
