Depreciation Class Lives
What items can be depreciated faster than 27.5 years? I found a list at http://www.trexglobal.com/assetlist.pdf do you agree with these classifications? I have been trying to classify the depreciable assets for my rental property to reduce taxes in the short term, what recommendations does everyone have for how to do this? I am considering cost segregation, but I don't know that the costs associated with getting the study done would be made up in tax savings.
