Cultured Marble cost?

I'm re-doing two bathrooms in a SFR rental. These are tub/shower units, and I'm getting wowed by pricing to install standard white "cultured marble" walls. Is $550-$750 *each* a decent deal? It seems really high for what the product is.

I'm almost to the point of tiling these areas, due to cost, but I really only want to do this one time, and the original cultured marble lasted nearly 30 years, so I can't complain about how it performs.
