Carpenter Bees questions

Hi BP!

Some carpenter bees made sawdust and holes on my front porch. It's been taken care of. See the pictures. My PM told me the white stuff is the Trie-Die Chemical and it will not stain. As soon as the contractor sprayed it, the bees came out and died. My questions are:

  • I was told there's no warranty for the job like this. The treatment can last 30 - 45 days. Is it true?
  • Should I repaint my front porch? Seems the carpenter bees don't like paint.
  • Can anyone recommend a good general contractor and a good PM in Columbia, SC?

Thank you so much!
