Where to hire a photographer

Tina Foltmer
Posted

I will be hopefully closing on a duplex soon, doing some renovations, and I'd like to get some good quality photos for the rental ad. I was considering hiring a professional (based on one of the podcasts I listened to), but I'm not sure where to start. Has anyone hired a photographer to take pictures of your rental? If so, how did you find them? And if you want to share, how much did it cost? Thanks!

If you have a newer model smart phone, you can buy a lens adapter for your phone that will give you a wide angle feature. Not sure exact cost as it depends on your phone, but you can get one for under $40 for sure. That's all you really need to get a decent picture. Some photographers will Photoshop fire into a fire place etc. but otherwise you can use your basic editing tools on your phone to "brighten" the place up as it were.

Granted, it won't be quite as nice as something a Canon 5DMiii might take with some nice glass but it'll def be more than nice enough for what you need.
