Tenant payment options - What do you use?

Hello,

I manage around 10 properties in semi-low income neighborhoods. I've always had my tenants deposit rent to my bank checking account. This makes is hard to track sometimes and I don't really feel comfortable govt others my personal checking account number.

So, I wanted to ask the community how they collect rent? I just want to say most of my tenants would not be able to pay online because of their age. Most don't even have bank accounts to set up direct deposit.

Is there a way for my tenants to pay rent physically and I'll still be able to track the progress? Any softwares out there you guys have found to be helpful?

Thanks in advance
