website to post bad renters and the damages they cause

Just wondering how interested people would be to have a website that they could go to that they could do a back ground type check on potential renters to see if they have had any bad experiences with other landlords and to be able to see the type of damage they inflicted on the landlords property to help them in not having the same thing happen to them. Would this be a good idea because i know i have been burned one too many times and the deposit never seems to cover the damages. And it is a terrible thing that the few bad seeds ruin it for the rest of the people that are good because after being burnt so many times you juswt get to where you don't want to help or be nice to anyone anymore and that is really sad.
