Greetings BPers, I am going to get straight to the point I'm a new landlord and have a duplex that I am currently renting one side. As per lease tenant was responsible to get renters insurance by 4/1, the tenant has yet provided me documents that she has purchase renter insurance. Can anyone help me with the proper steps to take in this situation? Should I evict?

@Taylor Roeling yes I’m aware of the fact that money can be an issue but I don’t require an expensive insurance plan just a plan with good liability coverage, personal property coverage that is affordable to the tenant.
