Buying a multifamily with tenants
I am looking at purchasing a multifamily home in PA and live in one unit while renting out the others. Many of the homes I am seeing are occupied with tenants on month-month leases. How does this process work for when I am closing on the home and planning to move in? In this scenario do you “evict” one of the tenants? If anyone has any experience similar to this it would be great to hear about it. Thank you

Hi @John McGill congrats on the house hack! Usually a thirty day notice is all that's needed. You can check in with other investors at a local REIA or meet up to see if there is anything special needed in PA and as @Kim Meredith Hampton mentioned always over communicate.
