Eviction with a co signer

I have to do an eviction on a non rent paying tenant who has a co signer. The co signer signed a co signer agreement, via fax, and did not sign the original lease. Do I need to include the co signer in the UD paperwork or can I just go after him civil after I get the UD done? He is aware that she has not paid because I called him and mailed him a copy of the 3-day pay or quit, he has not paid and neither has she. Please advise if you can. Thank you.
