What insurance for rental properties?

Which type of insurance do you have for your rental properties?

I would think "landlord insurance", not homeowner's insurance.  Is that right?  Thank you for your kindness in allowing me to post such a beginner question!

Yes, you're correct. It's essentially a homeowners policy except you're not insuring the contents of the house.  You'll probably want to look into getting an inexpensive umbrella policy as well.
