‘No pet’ co-op boots out family over teen’s ESA. Co-op must pay!

Unreal!  Has anyone come across someone being kicked out of their unit due to ESA and a no pet policy?  Seems like the co-op being so Draconian backfired.  I can see if the ESA wasn't legit but appears the co-op didn't want to listen.  Momma always said you get more with honey than you do with vinegar.

Here's the story:

@Aaron DiCaprio"see if the Court was just being tenant friendly"

It doesn't really matter. A ESA is just another name for "pet". The sole purpose of designating a animal as ESA is to get around regulations that prevent pets to be taken into certain areas. It's a scam. No one is in need of a animal 24/7 to keep them from having a mental melt down. If they do they should be in a institution where they can get proper treatment. No one should be allowed to rent where ever they choose in violation of a landlords desire to not have animals. Rent where they do allow animals.

The fault lies entirely in our pathetic overly entitled society.
