Preventative Maintenance Tips

Rental property maintenance is a topic many landlords would love to just go away. Unfortunately, maintenance issues don't just disappear and things can get really bad at the most inconvenient of times. However, one thing I've learned is you can take some control of the maintenance issues in your property by scheduling and performing preventative maintenance. I've already outlined 5 things to keep an eye out for, but if others have recommendations, please let me know/feel free to reply to this post!

1. Pest control

2. Check for water damage or leaks

3. Check for cracks in drywall or ceiling

4. Inspect HVAC + water heater

5. Communicate with tenants about things going on in the home

Additional suggestions are welcome!
