Eviction with constable and payment options

Hi all - I've been a landlord for 5 years but am I needing a little advice on a first time forced eviction in Pa.  Long story short, in 4 days I'm going to meet the constable at the property to change the locks and evict the tenants if they don't pay.  My question is exactly on the definition of 'pay'.  What is considered a valid payment?  My main concern is my tenants are basically professional system abusers and I wouldn't be surprised if when the constable shows up, they magically have a check with the outstanding rent owed.  My concern is the check would most likely bounce or be involved in some check kitting scam.  In the 11 months of their tenancy, I've had issues with their payment 8 out of the 11 months.

If they present me with a check when the constable shows up, does that satisfy their payment obligation?  Do I have any say in the matter?  Are there other things I'm missing and should be considering?

Thanks in advance.
