Can I evict my tenant to remodel the house & sell it in San Diego

I think the title explain the whole question. The tenants have 1 year lease. Can I get them out reasoning I am selling the house? I need to remodel it first before putting it on market.

@Jian G. for the ones that are month-to-month, you can give them notice of non-renewal. That is not eviction. It is just telling them you are ending their month to month agreement. I would give them a reasonable period of time like 3 months to move out. In the notice, just explain you plan to renovate and sell the property. The ones that have leases until 2020, you cannot legally force them to move, but you can send them notice of non-renewal at the end of their lease. 

Eviction is only for people who will not willing leave when legally asked to do so.
