Renting room from owner; simple contract forms? California.
Hey everyone. I’m looking to rent a room from a home owner who still lives in the house. The room was posted on an internal company site, the price, and location are right.
The owner didn’t make my co-worker sign any lease. After talking with my SO we thought it would be good to get some sort of basic “roommate agreement”. Does anyone have access to something of the sort? Is it bad if he doesn’t have me sign anything? Are the rights the same wit or without written contract? Any other things to ask or lookout for?
Please and thank you ahead of time.
