Good property management company in Toledo, OH

I am looking for any recommendations for property management company's in the Toledo, OH area. Are there any to avoid? Any that stand out above the rest? I found a lender willing to give 30 year notes with 25% down for 4.9% (still going to shop around to make sure its the best offer). Once I can find a decent property manager I feel like I am ready to dive in this long distance investing. Any last minute words of wisdom? Thank you in advance for any advice.

Jake

@Jacob Morris - Hi Jacob, I'd speculate that the reviews stem from taking a largely thankless job- tenants dislike property managers for the most part, owners see them as a necessary evil, and if I was to make a prediction people don't take time to provide great reviews nearly as frequently -  it's to vent and post a complaint.

That said if you search Stonehenge reviews you will find 1 star reviews...I have my own client base and operate a branch office of Stonehenge so I'm quite separate from them other than the oversight of their broker...none of their online reviews are my client base. :)

I qualify at the end of this month to apply for my broker's license so I will be on my own soon enough.

It will be interesting to see how I choose to interact with the marketplace. For years now I have been providing management off-the-radar of Google and a Yellow Pages search...people have to either know a client and be referred or find me through my REIA affiliation or connect here on BP. I don't expect to change how I operate simply because I have my broker's license and have a new brand...the benefit of property management is it's incredibly low-margin so I offer the service as part of my agent services rather than my seeking to aggressively increase the number property management of clients.

If you are interested in investing in Toledo, you will be hard pressed to find an adviser with more experience than I can offer. I have my own performing portfolio which has allowed me to be independent from a day-job, a full staff including contractors that both maintain, renovate, rent and I am continuously buying and selling.

Happy to discuss further should you be interested.
