Condo Rental property in a tough market (Greenhorn Post)

Posted

Hi There,

Before meeting my wife she owned a 1 bedroom condo. It was too small for us to live in together so we rented out another place for ourselves and then rented her condo. We have had issues with finding good tenants and figuring out any kind of strategy to retain tenants. The value of the condo is rounghly 180K and we struggle to get 1200/mo in rent. This is my first post here so if there's a million threads with topics like these I apologize in advance! I would just love to get some advice from some of you seasoned vets or people who have been in situations like this before.
