Zillow for Tenant Background

Jeremy Bloom
Posted

I am a 6 month old landlord and after house hacking a multi-unit I finally get to bring in my first tenant.

It was recommended to use Zillow for tenant screening so I went with it. The report I got was missing the totals on the accounts. Support stunk and 3 weeks later I still don't have all the right info. They literally took $29 from someone to not give me what that money was supposed to pay for.

What service do you use with success?

Try Cozy.  They do a good job and we like their reports.  You'll get the information you're seeking in a matter of minutes (not days, not weeks.)

You can also contact folks in your local rental association and get recommendations of local screening services.
