First self managed property
Hey, previously I’ve had a property managers or all my single family homes, but I’m converting my first to self managed, and this property is out of town. My question is once I advertise this, should I require prescreening of tenants before they view the property? I have someone local who can show them, but it will cost me. Has anyone ever let people view the property with just a lockbox code, or does this just expose me to risk of someone squatting or messing up the place? Trying to make this as smooth as possible.

@Account Closed form Here in the file place. it has helped me communicate much better with perspective tenants and weed out those that would not be a good fit.
It also helps to include lots of high quality pictures in your listing.
