Concrete counter top over laminate?

I'm looking for an economical way to update the laminate counter tops in a rental property.  Has anyone out there installed concrete over laminate?  I would love tips, pics or some ideas on the type of contractor who could do this.

Thanks!  Jill

Hi Jill,

How about granite?  I would not go concrete.  Unless your property is an industrial loft with exposed beams it will look horrible.  Its very specific and the majority of buyers and renters will hate it.
