Who do you use for collections?

Hi everyone, We currently have many rentals in the Clarksville, TN. area and for the most part, great tenants. However, over the past 2 years we've had to evict 4 tenants. In all cases, we were awarded judgement by the County judge, however we have yet to receive a penny from the previous tenants. Who have you used as a collections agency? How have you been able to recoup the money? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Success rates for collections is probably under 30% so your results are pretty normal. I use two different companies and haven't been that successful. I have around 24 collection accounts and only one was paid in full and a few more have received very small amounts, around 10% or less.

Be sure to use a company that has access to other states because bad tenants tend to move a lot.
