Starting out with no experience

Hey guys!

I’m just looking for some advice on how to get started with properties that I could buy and rent out to tenants. I’m curious if I would need to save for a down payment (and how much) or use a bank for a loan. My other question is what kind of units should I be looking at if I want to maximize rental cheques coming in every month. Any help is greatly greatly appreciated!

Thankyou!
