Considering not requiring SSN. Can we still collect a judgement?

Hello Folks,

We're considering removing our requirement for tenants SSN's to be on our lease documents. Tenants have brought up that they don't like there number on the lease document along side of 3 other tenants. I'm considering creating another document that is completed individually to collect this data. Or considering not collect SSN's at all. We never have confirmed tenants are actually even giving us valid SSN's. We use cozy screening and don't really even need a SSN except if we were to evict and try to collect a judgement.

Has anyone been successful in collecting a SSN number in court during the eviction/judgement process?

What are your thoughts?
