Can a tenant legally terminate a lease, sue, refund of adv pay
Can tenants terminate their lease due to German roach infestation? I sprayed and my older tenants don’t seem bothered by the problem. My new tenants want to immediately move out and are requesting a return of advanced payments and deposits. They are clean and pay on time. Should I work with the tenants allowing them to move or enforce the lease agreement? What is best/worse case scenarios? I’m a new investor with multiple small businesses so my money is everywhere. I do not know the tenants because my leasing agent rented to them. Is there more to gain or more to lose? Please advise. I want good clean tenants but all my previous do not mind the same type problems.
