Comolete Beginner In Real Estate

I am completely new to Real Estate. I’m 21 years old and currently work for a commercial bank as a teller in Alaska. I know real estate investing is very profitable if done correctly. One field I am very interested in is buying either a house and/or trailer and renting it out. I’m open to any advise and help I can get. I do not have a ton of cash. I have about 5k for a down payment to purchase and get a mortgage to rent out a house/trailer. Do you recommend I save more or wait. Or is there another way in Realestate that I can start now with 5k and begin making income?
