Hi,

Is it normal for the buyers agent to ask an agency fee and contract fee?  $395 plus $1000

Any good Property Managment companies in Detroit and what percent to expect?

Thank you!

“Transaction fees “ or “record retention fees “ are common here in Metro Detroit . Usually $200-500 per transaction , charged at closing .

I charge $295 but if a client asks I don’t have a problem waiving it . A lot of sales are sub 100k here , small commissions.

I do property management here . Charge 8% per month , 1 months rent fee if we place a tenant . Full time handyman to minimize maintenance costs .
