Evict tenants for new purchase and renovations
Hey everybody! First post for me. I would like to purchase a 4-plex, the rents are under market and the building needs 100k in renovations. I would prefer if the building was vacant at the time of closing, so I can renovate everything. I can evict the tenants if I assume them, and then do the renovations. But they have the right to come back, rent the unit again at the same price! Anybody ran into this problem before? Is it best to try and buy them out of their lease?
