Eviction: Bexar County

I recently received a letter by mail about an eviction appeal being taken from the justice of the peace court to county court. It states that the defendant had 8 days to have a written response and I'm trying to figure out what my options are after the eight days if the tenant(defendant) doesn't set up a court date. Any advice or information is appreciated.
