Heat and Air in duplex, New landlord. Knoxville TN
Hello everyone.
Here’s the dilemma. I have a duplex in Oak Ridge (near Knoxville) TN. The gas furnace and AC are very old and defunct. The rental side (we’re living in the other side but may be moving soon) also has a through-wall cooler that also does not work. Here are the options:
1) replace with new furnace/AC for $5500 with good warranty.
2) replace through-wall unit with AC/heat for about $700.
What would you do and why?
Please let me know what other info is needed.
Thank you!
