Basement in rentals
Hi
I am considering purchasing second rental in the same Neighborhood. It has dry and unfinished basement ( walls are sealed and painted white). My first rental has finished basement but the difference in rent probably doesn’t justify finishing it in second rental ( may be $50-$75 more).
I was thinking of just adding tile ceiling and lay carpet for cheap way to make it more usable and attractive to potential renter to use for play room and/or storage. Any thoughts?
Also it has polyB piping but no history of bursting that I know of. Should I worry about it? ( that is why I am thinking about tile ceiling for easy replacement).
