Tenant Unpaid Electricity Bill in My Name

I recently purchased a quad back in June, with a tenant already in place. I found out yesterday the water bill was actually updated to my name back in July due to a error on my teams part. There water was shut off so I paid the bill as the name switch was apart of my new team.error Is there any strategy I can use to get compensated back for the $400 3 month water bill?
