Single Family Residence rental for college students
Has anyone had experience buying a SFR to rent to college students? I am looking at a new build community that is located less than 2 miles from a major public university (22,000 undergrads). The going rate for rentals to students seems to be in the $400 - $500 per bed per month range. Would enjoy comments on is this a good idea and what are the pluses and minuses. The units are 4BR/2.5 BA will all the bedrooms up and the living area down.
