Landlord's lease agreement and Property manager

Surendra Shetty
Posted

Hi,

I am interested in knowing the pros and cons of having my renters enter the lease agreements directly with me as a landlord, while I delegate all property operations to a property manager. I am not necessarily looking to save on property manager fees but I am interested in knowing whether there are any intangible benefits (brand recognition, market reputation etc.,) and unnecessary exposures (legal, security etc.,). Also curious to know how common is this practice.

Thanks
