I co-leased a house with a friend, and he wants to add a roommate

I co-leased a house with a friend, and he wants to add a third roommate. I decided against it, but he went ahead and talked to the landlord. Can the landlord and my co-tenant bring in this new roommate without my consent even though we both signed the lease?

I would disagree (Obviously your wording matters and would override anything I say).

If they change the contract such as add a name, change a provision, edit a price or term then you should have to sign a "new" lease. Someone cannot take a document you signed and just edit it to include a third person/new moveout date/added fees without your blessing.
