Finding tenants without property manager/realtor
(New Investor/Landlord Alert) As an out-of-state investor, what are successful strategies for showing properties to tenants if you are not planning on hiring a property manager? I've thought of using a lock box and paying someone $20/showing, as I'm planning on screening tenants and advertising the property myself.
Would it make more sense to use a realtor or pay a property manager a one-time fee to do the showings? Is there some better strategy that you recommend? Thank you!
