Size of refrigerator for SFR

I'm looking at either 18 or 21 cubic feet for a 3/2 house. Can I get away with 18 or do people expect a larger refrigerator? thanks,

What level of house?

In my houses (intro level house generally purchased by first-time homebuyers) a new fridge is a huge selling point, regardless of the size/brand.

Higher end houses will require higher-end finishes, and you'll want a bigger fridge, ice maker, etc.

Without knowing the level of house and your specific market (and competition), I'm not sure anyone here can answer your question definitively.
