New tenant question??

We found a great tenant who wants to rent our property. Couple challenges... 1. We have an open house schedule for this coming Sunday (2 days away). 2. They filled out the application and we initiated the screening today (this should take about 48 hours). 3. They will provide a security deposit and first month rent immediately so we cancel the open house. 4. We cannot accept the payment online (changing bank accounts) and they do not have checks. 5. We are comfortable 1) canceling the open house, 2) taking the house off the market if the make both the security deposit and 1st month rent payment. 6. If they fail the background check (not expected) then we refund everything. 7. How would you we accept payment (they don’t have checks and we can’t accept online)??? Thanks in advance!

You shouldn't accept a personal check as payment for the deposit and first months rent anyways. Get them to provide a cashiers check for the security deposit and first month rent.
