Time series on vacancy rates and rents per unit

Ivana Zg
Posted

Hi,

Looking for advice on how I can start to gather vacancy rates and avg rents charged for last 5-10 years at a very micro level (each unit in the area im looking at).  The type of units Im looking at are multi-family with at least 5 units.

I know theres sites that give area averages but Im looking for more granular than that and ideally with at least 3-5 years data.

I thought one approach might be asking the seller's agent for this info but interested to hear if theres any other recommandations.

Thanks,
