60 day notice from prior owner

HI 

I just bought an investment home that has a tenant.  THe prior owner used a property manager.  The property manager gave the tenant a 60 notice and now the 60 days are up.  The tenant is still in the home.  

Can I enforce  the 60 day notice the prior property manager sent out?  Or do I have to send my own 60 days notice as the new owner of the home?
